What is Life Like as a 91福利导航 Cadet?
Being a Cadet at the University of North Georgia is more than simply being a college student.
As a Cadet, you receive world-class leadership development and education from the first day you arrive until the day you graduate. You will train to become an effective leader in either the military, government, or civilian sector.

What You Can Expect on Your Cadet Journey
Freshman Year
Your leadership training will revolve around personal development, followership, and peer leadership. As a Cadet private in the Corps of Cadets, you will have very little leadership responsibility which enables you to focus on your studies. To succeed at 91福利导航, you must forge a strong academic foundation during this crucial first year. Academic success, physical fitness, and an aptitude for leadership and responsibility will be the framework for future positions of leadership in the Corps of Cadets.
Sophomore Year
Your leadership education focuses on leading a small team of four to five freshmen Cadets as a team leader, or a squad of nine to ten Cadets as a squad leader. In these positions you will be completely responsible for the development, academic success, physical fitness, and well-being of each Cadet in your squad or team. Freshmen Cadets will rely on your knowledge, professionalism, and expertise to guide them through their freshman year.
Junior Year
Middle-management-level leadership education is the focus. You will become a Cadet platoon sergeant, company first sergeant, or sergeant major. You will be responsible for training, teaching and mentoring freshmen and sophomores on basic military skills and leadership. Juniors in select key leadership positions receive free food and housing, and a monthly stipend of over $600.
Senior Year
Seniors are the upper-level leaders in the Corps of Cadets. Seniors command platoons (30 Cadets), companies (75 Cadets), battalions (250 Cadets), or the brigade (800+ Cadets)! As a senior you plan all the activities for the Corps of Cadets and ensure that the University of North Georgia continues to offer the finest ROTC training in the nation. Seniors in select key leadership positions receive free food and housing, and a monthly stipend of over $600.
Your Summers
Cadets have the chance to compete for opportunities to participate in Army training over the summers. In recent years, North Georgia has received slots to , , Mountain Warfare School, Pathfinder School, Sapper School, the Combat Diver Qualification Course, and Helicopter Flight Training. Cadets may also apply to participate in Cadet Field Training, Cadet Troop Leader Training, Education Abroad, Internships. Commissioning Cadets will attend Advanced Camp at Ft. Knox during their final summer at 91福利导航.

An important part of the Cadet experience at 91福利导航 are our cadet organizations. You will build bonds with your fellow Cadets, overcome new challenges, and push yourself farther than you can imagine you could go.
The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy, Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008 require higher education institutions to provide an that contain crime statistics and fire statistics for the three most recently completed calendar years, institutional policies or procedures for reporting crimes and current policies concerning the security of, and access to, campus facilities and residencies, as well as security considerations in the maintenance of campus facilities.
