Register with SAS

If you are a new or current student seeking services or accommodations, we look forward to assisting you. Student Accessibility Services (SAS) serves as a resource and an advocate for students with disabilities to ensure an equal access learning environment.

It is important to keep in mind that the registration process can take up to four weeks. The timeline depends on a number of different factors, including the nature of the requested accommodations, the evaluation of supporting documentation, and the availability of coordinators for scheduling appointments.

If you have already registered with SAS, you do not need to register again. Please contact your campus SAS office.

Review and Complete All Registration Steps

Applicants are required to complete the entire process to be eligible for accommodations.
  • Step 1Complete Application
  • Step 2Gather Documentation
  • Step 3Attend Intake Meeting

Students interested in applying for accommodations should complete the intake packet.

If you need additional time to gather your documentation, applications can be completed and documentation submitted at any time.

  • Review the disability documentation guidelines.
  • Here are some tips for scanning documents with a cell phone (PDF)
  • All applicants must have documentation in order to determine their accommodations, documentation can be one or more of the following: Medical / Psychological / IEP / 504 Plan / Counseling/Therapy.
  • Documentation that is not current, but otherwise meets college guidelines, may be eligible for one semester of provisional accommodations while the student seeks re-evaluation.
  • An IEP and/or 504 Plan are sufficient for temporary or provisional accommodations only, however, more documentation may be required for accommodations to be permanent.
  • Students that do not have documentation, will not be eligible for services until they are able to secure appropriate documentation.
  • If you would like information on obtaining documentation, you may contact the Student Accessibility Services office on your campus.

Have you already completed your application and just need to submit documentation?

Student Accessibility Services will contact the student once the SAS office has received the intake packet and documentation. Please check your 91福利导航 email within 48 hours of your submission for information regarding scheduling your meeting.

Intake meetings are designed to meet with the student either in-person or virtually to discuss the documentation and determine accommodations that work best for the student. Intake meeting appointments may vary by campus.
