Proctored Examination Policy

Students will be required to submit certain quizzes/exams using proctoring software (ex. Respondus Monitor, etc) each semester. Instructions for the use of this software will be included in the instructions for the quiz/exam.  These exams will require the use of a webcam by the student and the student’s face must remain within the frame of the webcam in order for the software to work accurately.  If the student does not utilize the webcam during the exam or his/her face is out of the video frame or the video is too dark/too unfocused to be used for proctoring purposes, the instructor will assign a grade of “zero” for the quiz/exam.  If the student experiences technical issues during the completion of the quiz/exam or believes that there is a problem with the webcam, the student must take a screenshot of the problem/error and immediately email/contact the instructor.
