The office of Global Military Programs (GMP) offers international programs specifically for 91福利导航 cadets. Our cadets have the unique opportunity to participate in international military educational exchange programs, international cadet conferences, and international internships.

How to Apply
For the best chance to participate, apply early and complete the following 4-6 months prior to departure:
- Plan your finances in advance.
- Explore the programs and make sure you meet the eligibility requirements.
- You can also do your own program search
- Meet with your advisors.
- Meet with a GMP Advisor to discuss international military programs.
- Meet with your academic advisor to determine if the program fits your plan of study.
- Complete the online application.
- Cadets must receive approval from the Commandant, PMS, and GMP to attend
Considerations
- Cadets must continue to take MILS courses while abroad during the Fall and Spring Semesters.
- Work with the PMS and MLS Instructor on MILS Course Approval.
- This will occur by completing your “Course Equivalency Form” in the online application
- If Guardsman or Reservist, work with your Commander for approval to participate.
- You must also complete Aircraft and Personnel Automated Clearance Systems (APACS) within the program application
- If you are an ROTC scholarship recipient, contact Global Military Programs on allocating your benefits appropriately.
- Failure to do so could result in delayed or failed disbursement of ROTC Scholarship funds.
Outgoing International Cadet Programs
An international military exchange program is a semesterly educational program abroad where cadets earn academic credit while participating in a foreign university’s cadet program.
- Dual enrollment not permitted.
To be eligible for this program:
- 91福利导航 cadet
- 18 years or older
- Completion of 30-credit-hours prior to departure
- Good academic and disciplinary standing with 91福利导航, PMS and the Commandant
The hosting military academy may have additional requirements. The GMP advisor will have more information on this.
International Military Exchange Deadlines
- Fall - March 19
- Spring - October 2
- Summer - February 19
International Cadet Conferences are fully-funded, not-for-credit, short duration forums that provide professional development. Interaction with international cadet peers abroad broaden cadet’s perspectives concerning international security affairs, military leadership, the profession of arms, and strategic studies.
- Dual enrollment not permitted.
- Only two students will be selected each year for each location.
To be eligible for this program:
- 91福利导航 cadet
- 18 years or older
- Good academic and disciplinary standing with 91福利导航, PMS and the Commandant
- Completion of 30-credit-hours prior to departure
- Must not have previously attended a Cadet International Conference
The hosting military academy may have additional requirements. The GMP advisor will have more information on this.
International Cadet Conferences Deadlines
- Fall - April 5
- Spring - October 30
- Summer - March 5
Cadets can gain professional experience in their field by completing short term work internationally for academic credit. Interning abroad is a great way to experience another culture, improve foreign language, and gain professional experience in your field.
- Dual enrollment not permitted.
To be eligible for this program:
- 18 years or older
- Good Academic standing
- Completion of 48-credit-hours prior to departure
- Meet any additional departmental requirements for your major
