Mental Health includes our emotional, psychological, and social well-being. Having good mental health is being aware of everyday feelings and emotions and learning to cope with the challenges life brings.

I'm in Crisis
If you are having a medical emergency or a safety emergency requiring law enforcement and/or EMS, call 911 or call Campus Police at 706-864-1500.
If you or someone else is in distress, feel like there may be a risk of suicide, or having a crisis related to mental health, reach out to the appropriate Crisis Hotline number to talk to someone.

These behaviors include sexual harassment, nonconsensual sexual contact, nonconsensual sexual penetration, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, and sexual exploitation.

Student Counseling is dedicated to student’s mental well-being. They provide counseling and referral services for a variety of issues, including:

- Relaxation Training
- Distress Tolerance Skills Building
I Want to Learn More
Guided suicide prevention training that teaches how to Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) someone who may be suicidal. 91福利导航 offers free certification courses to current student, faculty and staff. Register for this 1.5 hour course.

Mental Health First Aid teaches the risk factors and warning signs for mental health and addiction concerns, strategies for how to help someone in both crisis and non-crisis situations, and where to turn for help.
