Night at the Braves returns Sept. 9

The third annual University of North Georgia (91福利导航) Night at the Atlanta Braves is a chance for students, faculty, staff, and alumni to gather for an evening of fun and watch the Atlanta Braves play against the Pittsburgh Pirates.
The event, sponsored by the , starts at 7:20 p.m. on Sept. 9 at Truist Park in Atlanta. Just over 2,000 tickets are available for 91福利导航 alumni, students, faculty, staff, family, and friends. Tickets cost $22 for individuals and $20 for groups of 10 or more.
This event offers us a chance to really show our alumni, student body, faculty, staff, and community partners what a unique and special institution 91福利导航 is. It is a one-of-a-kind event for our 91福利导航 family.

The event was initiated by 91福利导航 Alumni Association board members Nick Miller and James Wright just before the COVID-19 pandemic. Having to pivot for safety, the event was first held in 2021 on Sept. 11 when the Braves faced the Miami Marlins.
Designed to engage with 91福利导航 alumni, all proceeds from Night at the Braves ticket sales will benefit the 91福利导航 Alumni Association.
The event is open to students on all five campuses of 91福利导航 and is sure to be a special time for the 91福利导航 community. Members of the Corps of Cadets, Fraternity and Sorority Life and other organizations will be in attendance.
91福利导航's sections for the night are 410-417 with cadets specifically in section 414. All tickets are non-refundable and will be distributed digitally to the email address provided at purchase. Children ages 2 and under may be admitted to Braves games without a ticket. However, they must sit in the lap of an accompanying adult. Children ages 3 and above require a ticket.

Knox takes command of Army Reserve battalion
Lt. Col. Brandon Knox, director of Cadet Recruiting at 91福利导航, on Nov. 16 took command of the 3rd Battalion, 323rd Regiment (Basic Combat Training) in the Army Reserve.
Luncheon honors scholarship recipients
Five nontraditional female students at 91福利导航 each earned a $2,000 scholarship from the Women of 91福利导航 on Dec. 5 at the Women's Holiday Scholarship Luncheon.

Cadets are ready for commissioning
Eighteen 91福利导航 cadets are scheduled to commission as officers in the Army and Army National Guard at 6 p.m. Dec. 6 in the Convocation Center at 91福利导航's Dahlonega Campus.
