Visual arts associate professor joins arts foundation in Oconee County

University of North Georgia (91福利导航) faculty member Jennifer Graff, associate professor of visual arts, was selected as a new member of the Oconee Cultural Arts Foundation's board of directors in July.

University of North Georgia (91福利导航) faculty member Jennifer Graff has watched the grow over the years. Now, the associate professor of visual arts at 91福利导航 will be part of OCAF's evolution.

OCAF and 91福利导航 have had a longstanding partnership in Oconee, which has been punctuated with 91福利导航 donating $50,000 for renovations to OCAF facilities in 2014 and $20,000 for upgrades to the OCAF pottery studio.

Graff, who specializes in ceramics, was selected as a new member of the OCAF board of directors in July.

OCAF's mission is to promote cultural arts and artists, and it provides art education to the residents of Oconee County and the northeast Georgia area.

Graff said she is looking forward to working with OCAF Director Tommy Deadwyler and her fellow board members.

"This place is going to prosper and do well," she said. "They are tapping into the youth of Oconee County and it is exciting."
