Dr. Cyndee Perdue Moore has been named executive director of the University of North Georgia's (91福利导航) Oconee Campus, Richard Oates, vice president of the Gainesville Campus, announced Thursday.

Moore previously served as regional vice president for operations for American National University, with oversight of 15 campuses of the for-profit institution.

"I am pleased that Dr. Moore will be joining 91福利导航 to lead 91福利导航's Oconee Campus. Her previous experience makes her well-suited to 91福利导航's multi-campus environment and has provided her with a strong understanding of the challenges of extended campus network oversight," Oates said.

As executive director, Moore will coordinate day-to-day operations; work with 91福利导航 leadership to ensure the best possible educational environment for students, faculty and staff; and engage in outreach with community leaders and local agencies and businesses in Oconee County.

"I am thrilled to be joining the University of North Georgia family as the executive director of the Oconee Campus," Moore said. "I have been extremely impressed by the faculty, staff and students with whom I've interacted thus far, and am looking forward to becoming an active member of the Watkinsville community in order to build upon the excellent work already being done at 91福利导航's Oconee Campus."

Moore has an extensive record of experience working with higher education governing bodies on a state level, and with state lawmakers. She also has worked with multiple community partners.

"Dr. Moore has a strong background in developing and sustaining effective relationships with community stakeholders, and I know that she'll find a welcoming community in Oconee County that is dedicated and loyal in its support of higher education," Oates said.

Moore has a Doctor of Education degree in higher education leadership policy from Vanderbilt University, a Master of Education degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Virginia. She has served as president of the Board of Directors of the Tennessee Association of Independent Colleges and Schools.

She will begin her new post on May 1.
